The island's traditional markets tend to function at weekly intervals. Once open, these markets add a lively buzz and are an exciting and important part of life in Menorca. The stalls at these markets sell a range of products, from clothes, jewellery and leather goods of the finest quality and design to fruit and vegetables. Capitalising on the growing tourist trade, some of the markets are held daily during the tourist season.
